Monitoring Centres (CROSS)
Some organisations and institutions such as the CROSS-Med, historical partner of the project, the CROSS-Antilles Guyane, the Port-Cros National Park, the Calanques National Park and the Souffleurs d’Ecume association are equipped with the system. Shore-based devices are used to signal cetacean positions transmitted by boats and pleasure boaters not equipped with REPCET software. These organizations can also use and exploit the data transmitted in real time for scientific purposes.
